I got a long tail, four little legs
Sharp white teeth, two eyes in my head
Green green skin, you know you can pin
The friendliest smile, on me, Clara Crocodile
I lived with my family in a waterhole
It was one big party, full of crocodile roll
60 of us living under one tree
My brothers, my sisters and little old me
But all of a sudden, just the other day
Mum and dad said - ‘time you’re were on your way’
This waterhole is way to small
For so many crocs playing crocodile ball
So I got to leave, I got to go
Or I might end up in mums casserole
Dad said if I don’t go soon
They’re going to eat us up by noon!
So my brothers and sisters, and little old me
We gotta go, we gotta flee
I got a long tail, four little legs
Sharp white teeth, two eyes in my head
Green green skin, you know you can pin
The friendliest smile, on me, Clara Crocodile
I got a long tail, four little legs
Sharp white teeth, two eyes in my head
Green green skin, you know you can pin
The friendliest smile, on me, Clara Crocodile

Dragonfly:
Have you ever heard
Of a sunburnt town?
Where the wind blows hot,
And dust clouds form
A place so hot
Everyone has a pool
That just might be
The perfect place for you!
Dragonfly:
Alice Springs she’s calling to you
Mparntwe
Alice Springs can you hear her?
Clara: Mparntwe, where can I find you?
Dragonfly:
Follow this road
Head straight on down
You’ll see the ground turn
From green to brown
If your legs grow tired
The train will carry you
All the way down South
To the desert, with your new pool
Dragonfly:
Alice Springs she’s calling to you
Mparntwe
Alice Springs can you hear her
Clara: Mparntwe, I’m looking for you
Clara:
I can’t wait to see
A sunburnt town
Where the wind blows hot,
And dust clouds form
A place so hot
Everyone has a pool
It really sounds like
The perfect place it's true!
Clara and Dragonfly:
Alice Springs she’s calling to you
Mparntwe
Alice Springs can you hear her
Clara: Mparntwe, I can’t wait to find you

Green Tree Frog:
Let me tell you of a true story
About this old rambling frog
I travelled throughout the territory
Met bilbys, brumbies and even a dog
When I was younger I hopped everywhere
I’ve seen drought, bushfire, a flood or two
But now my legs only bend for my chair
I see the world from my carriage view
This train, takes me where I want to go
This train, my home, it’s better than gold
This train, shows me all I need to know
This train, where I meeting creatures young and old
Travelling up and down the railway
I’m the happiest frog you’ll ever meet
I love the stars at night, the bush at day
Love the south for the cold, the north for the heat
Clara:
Thank you for letting me hitch
A ride in your travelling home
It’s helping me make the switch
And giving me freedom to roam
Clara and Green Tree Frog:
This train, takes me where I want to go
This train, my home, it’s better than gold
This train, shows me all I need to know
This train, where I meeting creatures young and old
Green Tree Frog:
You’re in for a treat if you’ve never been
To Alice Springs, that dusty old town
It is like nothing you’ve ever seen
A one of a kind place - hands down
Clara and Green Tree Frog:
This train, takes me where I want to go
This train, my home, it’s better than gold
This train, shows me all I need to know
This train, where I meeting creatures young and old

Red-Backed Kingfisher:
I love to fly up high in the blue
I love when the sun shines through
Clara:
I love to swish my tail, make water shiver
I love to drift in the river
Red-Backed Kingfisher:
Will you stay?
Can we play?
Hide and seek
At the edge of the creek?
We can run around all day
Red-Backed Kingfisher:
I know you’re a reptile, I’m a bird
Maybe friends seems absurd
Clara:
Just because we aren’t the same
Doesn’t mean we can’t play games!
Red-Backed Kingfisher:
Will you stay?
Can we play?
Hide and seek
At the edge of the creek?
We can run, swim, and fly
Until it’s time to say good bye!
Clara:
I will stay
So we can play
Clara and Red-Backed Kingfisher:
Hide and seek
At the edge of the creek
We can run, swim, and fly
Until it’s time to say good bye!
Clara and Red-Backed Kingfisher:
A feathery bird, leathery reptile
Playing together, sharing a smile
Different animals we might be
But together we can play in harmony
Clara:
I will stay
So we can play
Clara and Red-Backed Kingfisher:
Hide and seek
At the edge of the creek
We can run, swim, and fly
Until it’s time to say good bye!
Clara and Red-Backed Kingfisher:
Hide and seek
At the edge of the creek
We can run, swim, and fly
Until it’s time to say good bye!

Clara:
Oh the wheels they keep on turning
And the dust it keeps on churning
But I am still yearning
For that red centre burning
Snake:
I’ve been on this road a plenty
Hitchin’ rides; can’t count how many
Sun bathing so I don’t turn blue
But I never met a creature, like you
Clara and Snake:
The wheels go round and round
We’re headed south, we’re headed down
The wheels go round and round
We’re headed down, we’re south bound
Clara:
See I’m ditchin’ sea for desert sands
Too many crocs, I couldn’t stand
I needed to find space
So I’m looking for a new place
Snake:
I’ve been on the road my whole life
But now its time to head south
I’m heading on back to my land
I’m glad I met someone who understands
Clara and Snake:
Yes the wheels they keep on turning
And the dust it keeps on churning
But we’ll keep on down that long straight road
Till we find our new homes
Clara and Snake:
The wheels go round and round
We’re headed south, we’re headed down
The wheels go round and round
We’re headed down, we’re south bound
The wheels go round and round
We’re headed south, we’re headed down
The wheels go round and round
We’re headed down, we’re south bound

Gecko:
The night sky opens up to millions of stars
It goes on forever, no one knows how far
It is a hot spot, a UFO landing site
Aliens like to stop here in the bright moonlight
Sit with me, under the milky way
Which some say is an epic alien highway
We can watch quietly on this starry night
For a space ship, comet or satellite
Clara:
I have never heard of such a place
Or seen the sky for all the space
Waiting for spaceships to land or take flight
Is such an exciting thought to ignite
Clara and Gecko:
We can see where the sky touches the land
Where stars become one with the sand
Who knows what the universe will bring tonight
We will watch together ’til the morning light

Dog Dog:
If you need a ride
Take a look inside
There’s mobs of space
In my 5 star place
Its cosy and comfy
A little bit bumpy
But has driven us
Around Australia brus
Clara:
I’ve never ridden in a caravan
But your offer sounds like quite a plan
You’ll need to hide me from your family
Will we make it down the track safely?
Dog Dog:
We’ve just come from Humpty-Doo
Now we’re off to a place called Uluru
I heard them say were driving through
Alice Spring, so I can help you!
What do you say, Clara Crocodile?
Do you want to ride with me in style?
There’s plenty of room for you and me
I’d love to have your company
Clara:
I’ve never ridden in a caravan
But your offer sounds like quite a plan
This is going to be such a fun ride
We’ll sit together side by side
Dog Dog:
Welcome to my home on wheels
It’s where we sleep and eat our meals
We can play games as we drive along
Talk a bit, even sing a song
So climb aboard for your next adventure
Before you know you’ll be in the red centre
Its been so long since I had a friend
That I could give a paw to lend
Clara:
I’ve never ridden in a caravan
But your offer sounds like quite a plan
This is going to be such a fun ride
We’ll sit together side by side

Oh we stopped on the side of the road
Coz Dog Dog really needed a wee
And something fell down, down down next to me
It was yellow and orange and a little bit green
And it tased like all the colours in between
Soft and juice

Oh Oh Oh what a treat
It was mango Oh
Mango Oh

Mmm Mango
It was mango

Clara:
I have taken this long track
With nothing but my big backpack
Not once, no not once did I look back
Whistling Kite:
Everyday this wind carries me
And it gets me where I need to be
Come, fly along with me, on this troopie
Clara: I’m going to ride with you
Whistling Kite: Fly with you, fly with you
Clara and Whistling Kite: Over the bitumen into the blue
Clara: I’m going to ride with you
Whistling Kite: Fly with you, fly with you
Clara and Whistling Kite: Over the bitumen into the new
Clara:
Way up here I can see so far
Wind in my ears and this noisy car
No matter where I go I have friends - there you are
Whistling Kite:
Hold on tight Clara don’t let go
We’ll be there, before you know
You’ll find your home like gold at the end of a rainbow
Clara: I’m gonna ride
Whistling Kite: I’m gonna fly
Clara: You’re gonna fly
Whistling Kite: You’re gonna ride
Clara: Oh here we go
Clara: I’m gonna ride
Whistling Kite: I’m gonna fly
Clara: You’re gonna fly
Whistling Kite: You’re gonna ride
Clara and Whistling Kite: Oh here we go down the road
Clara: I’m going to ride with you
Whistling Kite: Fly with you, fly with you
Clara and Whistling Kite: Over the bitumen into the blue

Clara: Oh here we go
Clara: I’m gonna ride
Whistling Kite: I’m gonna fly

Honey Ant:
We have heard a tale or two
About a travelling croc from the top end
We have come to see if it was true
To welcome you and be your friend!
The town is small with a river running through
Its got no water most of the year round
Don’t worry you’ll find pools clear and blue
Let us show you around your new hometown
Honey Ants:

Woke up to the strangest sound
Looked out my window with a morning frown
There was something swimming in our pool
Splashing, crashing, trying to keep cool
Jumped out of bed, sprinted down the hall
Had to tell someone, anyone at all!
Mum, dad - you better come quick
Grab the camera - You’ll want to take a pic
Something in our pool looks mean
Big and scaly, long and green!
They rolled their eyes, followed me outside
Just to check I wasn’t taking them for a ride
There she was, swimming in the sun
She looked like she was having so much fun
Made sure the pool gate was shut tight
Just in case she came looking for a bite
Hey, hey - you better come quick
Grab the camera - You’ll want to take a pic
Something in our pool looks mean
Big and scaly, long and green!
Didn’t take long for word to get around
Of the strangest sight we had ever found
Next thing we knew not just neighbours were there
Locals, tourists, journos, cameras everywhere!
They’d come from all over the globe
To see this brilliant crocodile in her new found home
